Over the past few years both CN and CP have been rationalizing their rail networks and have sold off various portions of their rail networks to shortline operators. In Quebec this has meant the formation of several new railways such as the Quebec-Gatineau Railway, the Quebec Southern and others. PQRR is devoted to the discussion of these new shortline railways. Since we are all freinds, there isn't any need for flames so try to keep things polite and clean. Any messages containing offensive, profane or obscene language will simply be deleted without further comment - regardless of the context.
